Will: It's the same reason Dr. Frankenstein didn't date his monster.
Grace: What? Dr. Frankenstein wasn't a homo!
Will: Oh, really? He sewed together a bunch of guys to create the perfect man. Wrapped him in linen. Give him a flat head, so you can set a drink on it. Dr. Frank was a 'mo, my friend. Heeeee was a 'mooooo.

So proud to be a part of my family right now...
…but especially of my 87 year-old grandmother. My grandmother’s always been hardheaded and blunt. She’s also always been very literal - what her Southern Baptist preacher says to her is what God means, and there’s no getting around that. Ever since my grandpa died in 2002, she’s gotten more and more outspoken about what she thinks - and less and less tactful (for example, at my cousin’s...

The Onion: Future U.S. History Students: 'It's... →
While the future students, roughly one in eight of whom were raised by gay or lesbian parents, are scheduled to write essays debating the different viewpoints on gay marriage in the 2010s, a number of them told reporters it was hard to conceive of arguments against something as clearly justified as gay marriage “as though it were some big controversial issue, like marrying your...

My father and his lesbians.
Dad: -points to tv- Do you know what she plays in? Me: No. Dad: Well, you should. Me: Okay dad, what does she play in? Dad: She’s a lesbian in the show White Collar. Me: Oh okay.  Well I don’t watch that show so yeah I wouldn’t know… Dad: Well, I just figured you should have known that. (Basically my father believes that since I’m gay I obviously know of every lesbian character on every...

That Exists
In Switzerland, my mum and my little sister live in a pretty multi-cultural road, and many of my sister’s friends are brought up in a muslim environment. Although they consider us “Christians” (because we’re white and have a christmas tree, I guess), there’s no hostility between the ethnicities of the neigbourhood. My sister and her two best friends (they’re...

If you edit the appearance of your blog, it will...
justjasper: E.g. reset your ask text to ‘ask me anything’ and uncheck the ‘let users submit’ field if you had it checked. I’ve found this happens on every blog I manage. Tumblr this is a fail.

Anonymous asked: Your logic is flawed when you note that you make captions for the visually impaired. The pictures are 100x bitter than any font, which makes those pointless captions quite pointless. Just post the picture. Folks that have visual impairments know how to make their screens bigger and more accessible anyway. It's built into computers. Your captions only provide them something else to squint...

Seeing as you can’t send links via the ask anymore, you can just send links to reblog (stuff on your blog or stuff you come across on your dash) via the /submit page as a text post.

Gay in the 60s
My grandmother, was an extremly open minded woman. In the early 50s-60’s she had a gay friend named Steven. She sent him to the store to pick up some milk, BUT she forgot to tell him to get homogenized milk or “homo milk”  so she opened her front door and began to scream “STEVEN HOMO HOMO HOMO”. Gosh I love this woman. (Submitted by imrussian)
